Sridhar Dharmarajan (DS) is the Executive Vice President & Managing Director – Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence India and MSC Software, Indo-Pacific. In his role, he is responsible for India sales operations of the Metrology and Production Software portfolios, as well as MSC Software and Q-DAS. He also oversees the MSC Software Indo-Pacific regional business operations across India, ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand.
He joined MSC Software Corporation in 2007 establishing the company’s first sales office in the Region. Over the past decade, he has built and retained high performing teams. He has been responsible for the company's market leadership and 10x growth. Before MSC Software Corporation, between 2002-2006, Mr. Dharmarajan was responsible for successfully setting up the MatrixOne operations in India.
He is also a successful entrepreneur who has set up two companies - Bluefont Technologies and Pixtel communications (Pixtel was sold to Mindtek, Taiwan) in the early 2000’s. It is during this time Mr. Dharmarajan acquired an in-depth knowledge of setting up and running a software company end-to-end. Mr. Dharmarajan started his career with Wipro Infotech. After leaving Wipro, he was handpicked to be a part of a core team to establish SDRC (now Siemens PLM) in India. During his eight-year tenure at SDRC, he was the recipient of numerous technical and sales excellence awards and played a vital role in the success of SDRC in the country.
Mr. Dharmarajan has completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. He is based in Bangalore and calls the Garden City his home.
Dr. Assaker holds a PhD and MS in Aerospace Engineering with a strong focus on nonlinear computational mechanics where he totals more than 20 years of experience. He complemented his engineering education with an MBA in International Business and several advanced technology, business and entrepreneurship courses from prestigious universities such as MIT. In parallel to growing e-Xstream to be the world leader in advanced composite modeling, he is the Vice Chairman of NAFEMS Composite Working Group and active member of other technical material associations such as SPE and SAMPE.
Stephan Amann is the Global Business Development Manager for the product line portable measuring arms and responsible for sales and marketing. He joined Hexagon Metrology in 2008 with more than 15 years’ experience and a background of direct sales, key account and distribution channel management worldwide.
Stephan Sprink is the Team Leader of the Q-DAS Marketing Sales team and holds a diploma in business administration and engineering. Stephan joined Q-DAS in 1999 and shortly afterwards spent a year in the US to support Q-DAS Inc. Back in Germany, he helped develop a strong and successful network of Q-DAS partners that he still cares for today.
Paolo Guglielmini is President, Manufacturing Intelligence Division. Mr. Guglielmini leads the strategic and commercial development of Hexagon’s Smart Factory Solutions in the world of manufacturing. He has served in key roles since joining Hexagon in 2010 – from strategy and business development to mergers and acquisitions – and most recently as the president over Hexagon's Smart Factory design & engineering portfolio.
Since joining Hexagon in 2010, Paolo has served in multiple roles in business development, product management and M&A, ultimately as EVP of Business Development. He has been highly instrumental in leading Hexagon's evolution from a leader in dimensional metrology to a provider of software-centric quality solutions across the lifecycle.
Previously, Paolo served as Consultant at Accenture in the Technology practice and Project Leader at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research). Paolo holds a MSc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the IMD Business School.
Dr. Parag Diwan, is currently leading Chandigarh University into the next orbit of higher education through a set of transformative processes, culminating in the concept of University 4.0. He obtained his education in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University and went to Clemson University, USA where he acquired his Masters in Chemical Engineering, followed by a Doctorate in Business Administration from Punjab University. His passion for education led him to join All India Management Association (AIMA) where he initiated several collaborations, innovative management services, and more. He’s also renowned as the youngest vice-chancellor in India by becoming the founder of UPES India. Currently, he is an advisor to several HE Institutions working in the area now with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, education should also transform to what he calls Education 4.0. He has been the CEO for several leading organizations and was assigned to UVM Mexico and INTI Malaysia to assist them in developing, creating, and launching marquee programs in the Energy Sector. Diwan has won awards for excellent contributions in the field of education and social causes, popular ones include the ones at London and Houston. He was also awarded the prestigious Hewlett Packard fellowship for his work in online education.
Dr N Saravanan, President & Chief Technology Officer of Ashok Leyland Ltd. He heads the R&D for Ashok Leyland. In this role, he heads a team of over 1500 engineers in the Ashok Leyland Technical Centre. He has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. Prior to joining Ashok Leyland, he worked in Ford Motor Company and Intel Corporation. He has a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida and MBA from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Dr Saravanan serves on a number of SIAM (Society of Indian Automotive Manufactures), CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) & Government Panels related to the Automotive Industry, Innovation and Skill Development and was co-chair of the CMVR & Safety Regulations group that is responsible for formulating the new safety regulations for the Automotive Industry in India
He is passionate about skill development and mentoring and enjoys running and cycling.
Dr. Asif Rana joined Hexagon in 2007. Dr. Rana holds a PhD in in Electrical Engineering from Universität Siegen and an MBA from IE Business School. A passionate technologist with a keen focus on value creation and business strategy, Dr. Rana was appointed the COO of Xalt Solutions in 2018 and is responsible for driving its business growth.
Stephen Graham joined Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence in January 2017 as Vice President Marketing and is based in Cobham, UK. Prior to joining Hexagon he worked in marketing positions for over 25 years in the technology industry, most recently for Qualcomm Inc., a major supplier of semiconductors for the mobile phone, consumer electronics and automotive industries.
Dr. Engelmann was appointed Chief Technology Officer at MSC in March 2020. He is responsible for technology leadership, research and development, and product-line related functions for design and engineering within Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. Dr. Engelmann has been a thought leader and champion of computational science and multi-physics driven design and optimization for more than 30 years. He was elected into the National Academy of Engineering in 2018. Before joining MSC, he served as Chief Technology Officer for many years in the CAE space and was a principal in multiple technology start-ups. He graduated with a Ph.D in Applied Mechanics from Northwestern University and a BS/MS at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Boon Choon Lim is the President, Korea, ASEAN, Pacific, India at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. As an experienced engineering professional with over twenty years' experience managing industrial business and metrology solutions, Boon Choon Lim has worked across multiple renowned organizations and leadership roles. Beginning his career as an application engineer, Boon Choon Lim was instrumental in leading and growing businesses to double digit profits in the Asia Pacific region.
His experience covers a range of markets from Oil & Gas, Energy & Power, Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics to Medical industries.
Boon Choon Lim holds an MBA and a M.Eng degree, from one of UK’s leading MBA schools, University of Strathclyde and Singapore’s highly acclaimed National University of Singapore.
Makoto holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Keio University in Japan and has spent his whole career in Software Cradle since 2002 starting as a Computer Programmer to become Product Manager, then Head of Development, and since 2019, President and CEO of Software Cradle, that is now a Hexagon company. He is passionate about delivering quality Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software that is fast, accurate yet usable by engineers around the world to solve real-world engineering problems.
Nishant Arya is the Executive Director at JBM Group & Chairman - Linde Wiemann Gmbh. With over a decade’s experience in global thinking, finance and marketing decision making, he is a very successful professional. With an educational background from pioneering institutions like the London School of Economics, Indian School of Business, Bradford University and others, Nishant has a surprising level of clarity. Not afraid to get in the trenches and work at the details.
Subbi Pisupati is an automotive leader who has worked in many countries in Europe, Asia and North America. He successfully developed and led large teams across several cultures and industries in supporting productive development using design, virtual and physical testing tools.
Subbi Pisupati’s areas of expertise lies in Automotive, Agricultural and Construction equipment industries and most recently held the roles as Global Director for Virtual Product Development and Head of Vehicle Sciences and Virtual Engineering for FCA Engineering India Pvt. Ltd.
He is currently responsible for Global Interior Virtual Engineering at FCA Engineering India Pvt. Ltd and his keynote address makes an attempt in provoking thoughts on leveraging the current technologies in data sciences and applying those in the areas of simulation to support product development.

An alumnus of IIT Madras and having over 20 years of experience in CAE across multiple industries including Automotive, Electronics, Energy, Consumer Products and Life Science Dr. Kailasam comes from Thornton Tomasetti where he drove the expansion of the Applied Science consulting practice into Life Science. Prior to that he led various successful R&D, Product Management and Industry initiatives at Dassault Systemes for well over a decade.
Dr. Prakash Kulkarni joined IISc, Bangalore as a research Scholar during his Masters in Aerospace Engineering. Thereafter, he pursued his PhD. Program, followed by Post Doctoral work in the budding area of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He has always been very driven towards algorithms and applications of CFD, parallel computing and mentoring young learners. He also established CFD Laboratory, CFD Center, and Computational Mechanics Laboratory in the Indian Institute of Science where he worked for over 40 years. He’s a retired faculty member with concrete experience in aerospace engineering and training. Other than IISc, Dr. Kulkarni went to Japan University where he completed his research on numerical simulations of fluid dynamics related problems, including bio-fluids.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Tan contributed to the advancement of the computational biology and bioinformatics through the application of Internet technologies, popularized numerous Internet technologies in Asia from WAIS, Gopher, WWW to Java applets, VRML and CUSeeMe. He became the founder of the Bioinformatics Centre, joined the APAN (the Asia Pacific Advanced Network) initiative, was the organizing chair of the APNG Workshop in 1995, served as .sg TLD authority, initiated the formation of Singapore's Computer Emergency Response Team SingCERT, pioneered Asia Pacific Security Internet Response Committee (APSIRC), and served as Director of the International Centre for Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRI). He is the founder of several companies and served on the Board of Directors of the Singapore Exchange-listed Company, Keppel Telecommunications and Transportation since 2000. Dr. Tan has won numerous awards which include the 1994 Singapore Youth Award for Internet biological databases; Life Insurance Association award (1997) for community work in providing Internet access to disabled; the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry's award for contribution to Internet education (1997); ASEAN Business Forum's Achievement Award (1997) and many more prestigious accolades.
